What happens when I order this service?

• You will be required to be out of your home until 24-48 hours after mold removal is completed.
• Our pros will spray mold killing chemicals on all areas that have mold. Most are in cabinets, drawers, closets, crawl spaces, attics, etc.
• Our pro will instruct you 24-48 before they begin work, unless this is an emergency.
• They may instruct you to remove all items out of cabinets and drawers and place them in an area where you can wash the items later. If our pros clean everything, there will be additional costs.
• Our pros will notify you when they are finished and instruct you to stay out of your home for 24-48 hours, due to the toxicity of the chemicals they use. Spraying Lysol or just using bleach will not kill mold.
• You may need to clean items you have stored in cabinets and drawers. Many items, such as packaged foods, will need to be disposed of and sealed in plastic bags. Place those bags outside your home in an area out of reach of animals.
• You should be able to wash aluminum or stainless steel utensils, dishes, glasses after soaking in a Clorox solution.
• Important documents should be cleaned by our pros. They generally allow a certain amount of documents to be cleaned.
• Items, such as collectible stamps, may need to be discarded to avoid mold returning. If these items are valuable, it may be worth having our pros clean them for you.
• Most mold removal jobs take one or two days, however, some jobs can take up to a full week. Also add the 24-48 hours before you can return to your home.
• Check your insurance policy to make sure it covers mold removal. You may have to pay extra to add that coverage as a rider.
